my first piece of homework is write what your advantage is in your current position. So if you're if you're Nike but if you're not Nike, right, talk about the unique angle that you have compared to the leader in your the leader is high. So talk about how you're different than they are in a way that is factually correct that they cannot argue with and drop it in the everything that I just talked to you about those positions is what I would weave into my sales and my marketing because the nice thing there is it's also it's not like claims based. It's just like these are the facts and this

this before we get the samples. We need to define what our brand is. A brand is an emotional connection to define. Because if you go onto a brand website and they're selling a hoodie that is similar to somewhere else, say Kmart. And there is no statement of who that brand is for and what it stands for, chances are they're just going to buy the cheap product from the competitor. So I think that that you kind of want to understand is who is your product for? How do you, like, what do you stand for?

And I was like, okay, well, do any of them live in your area? And he said, no. And I was like, well, why don't you say that, right? Why don't you say that? grow the community even more than it has and finding new ways to grow it. Because I do truly believe like the thing that makes businesses stand out is who's behind it. If you really believe in something and you want it, you go after it. If you're like, oh, it can never happen. It could never be me. You'll never know. You're going to miss out on an opportunity. And I live in the clouds with butterflies and rainbows. And that's where I like to stay because I think it's just like the worst that happens is a no. So who cares?
