to scale and grow your business in 2026. Like we've said that plenty of times here, but creative creates the targeting. But now, as you're saying, it's, it's shifted because now you have to make an ad specifically for that person. And then you make a different ad specifically for that, like 20 year old that like your creative didn't matter quite as much. So like today it is everything. So That was crazy. Like, think about that. And like, if you're still looking at Meta in, as a targeting based platform, you're, you've got it all wrong. Like literally the targeting is like by region or by…

Okay? targeting largely happens in the tight audience. Facebook doesn't even let you do that. So again, the ad itself does most of the targeting. >> This is since 2018. Age, gender, location, broad targeting. Anything outside of that is a severe liability to that targeting has happened at the ad level, at the creative level for seven There is legitimately no reason you should be going outside of that. What is the best strategy right now? Broad. No. In this the year of our Lord 2025, you should not be using interest targeting for anything. Um, that's been true since 2018. There's just no reason for it. There's no value in it. And the people that push it are the ones that are improperly using broad. [snorts]

reach. How are you targeting? So it's for targeting. My personal favorite are inmarket audiences. Um if you're doing anything uh with ecom or honestly B2B and leads as well. If you can find people who are looking for the thing that you are selling, it is more likely that they are going to convert and be warmer than if you were just going to target them based on say age and gender.
